IMPROVING MOBILITY & STRENGTH FOR FUNCTIONAL BODY MOVEMENT

This 3 step course has been created by yoga master Flo Fenton after 20 years of teaching all levels of students from complete beginners to advanced teacher trainings.

You will build core, leg and upper body strength, giving strength and tone to the major stabilizing muscles groups. The practice also includes simple inverted postures to improve digestion and enhance the functionality of the endocrine system.

The sequences are presented in a flowing vinyasa style, and follow a seamless and intelligent progression. The course will take you from beginner to intermediate level over a period of 6-12 weeks.

MANAGING LOWER BACK PAIN & INJURY WITH YOGA

Have you suffered with lower back pain on and off for years, and tried everything and nothing completely resolves the problem? Or have you just hurt your back and don’t know how to proceed? Yoga therapist and senior teacher Flo Fenton explains why working with lower back pain and injury with yoga therapy is different, and more effective than other modalities you may have tried. Following this three step course, you can move from the first stage of pain and injury, right through to full, pain free functionality!

YOGA TO BALANCE THE PRANA VAYUS

The prana vayus are subtle energetic forces in our system that move in different areas of the body and have their own specific effects. Balance and enhance these subtle energies through focused breath-work, targeted asana, pranayama, mantra (sound vibration) mudra and and bandha techniques, within a dynamic vinyasa format.

Suitable for general to intermediate level students, these classes get a little more dynamic and challenging as we go through the course-so you could stay with each practice for a week or more and then move on, to gradually build strength and ability over a few months. Each class is between 1 hour 15mins to 1.5 hours.
