This last sequence in the course introduces the classical alignment of most of the postures, building on our weeks of preparation to move us into the full expression of the important movements of the body. However there are options given so that the practice can be softened on any given day, and of course, appropriate warm up and counterposing for each movement, so that the practice is one that is perennially beneficial and sustainable.
This sequence can be used as a daily, ongoing practice.
Includes progression into a full Sun Salutation, classical standing postures, strong abdominal strength work, backbends and twists, progression into full Shoulder Stand, seated pranayama (breathing practice) and relaxation.
