Using restorative postures and prop use, breathing techniques, mantra, visualisation and meditation, we will re-ground our senses in the here and now, calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. Yoga Nidra, a deeply transformative psychic practice, will complete this session.
Morning practice to gently energise and restore. We will use flowing asana in synchrony with the breath to focus the mind and sharpen the senses. Breathing techniques will be used to enhance and refresh the subtle energies of the system. Meditation will bring deep quiet to the mind.
Have a relaxing, nutritious and delicious vegetarian lunch with the workshop participants on the deck of the Suffolk Park Community Hall. Cost included. Walk on beautiful Tallow Beach, and maybe have a swim!
In our last practice, we will cement the good work we have done on the nervous system with grounding and relaxing yoga asana. We shall balance the subtle energies with visualisation techniques and sound. We shall prepare for the remainder of the year and the next by setting our resolve with clarity.
