The Power of The Breath in Vinyasa Yoga

Flo Fenton is proud to again be invited to present at Spiritfestival! Come and get a taste of what Flo has to offer at this fantastic festival of yoga and dance workshops by a wide variety of teachers.

The breath is a tool that can create enhanced energy, detoxify the system, and balance our physiology, and thus our mental state. When used intelligently within our asana practice, both the effect of the breath, and the asanas are increased. But how aware are you of your breath during your asana practice-and how much importance do you give to the quality of your breath? Which movements or postures are improved with which breath? Breath is the vehicle of prana. Unless the breath is free to move, prana cannot move freely, and the benefits of our practice are lost. For the breath to be consistent and subtle, we must truly inhabit the meaning of asana in each pose-that is each posture must be steady, and comfortable-with no strain. Join Flo at Spiritfestival 2018 for an exploration into making breath the focus of your practice-and be challenged in a whole new way!


Please bring a mat, two blankets, and a bolster if you have them.
